Have Painful Sore Trachea. Its Tender To Touch. Treatment?
My trachea has been sore on and off for the past 3 months. It s tender to the touch on the front. I do not have a sore throat . Its keeps getting tender right where my chin goes back to my neck in the front part of the ribbed, boney part. The pain lasts a few day then goes away completely. It reappears after about a week.
It will be helpful if you describe whether you had suffered any injury on your throat recently?
After reading your post, it seems that your pain can be due to muscular in origin.
You can take pain killer like Ibuprofen one tablet twice a day after meals along with an antacid like Omeprazole 20 mg.
I will also suggest that you should get yourself examined clinically.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
Thank you for your query.
In the absence of you having injured yourself I suggested this might be inflammation of the lymph glands causing this. There are a couple of reasons this could be recurring, acid reflux , post nasal drip and infections. Best that whilst you have the pain a doctor examines your throat. I trust this informations help you.
