Have Pimple Like Bump On The Opening Of Urethra. Blood When Popped. Using Neosporin. Cause?
Hi i have a lil red pimple like bump on the opening of my urethra opening and of course i started messing with it. Blood came out of it when i popped it and now its very irretated and sensitive. When i keep messing with it it swells and after a while it looks like the top of the bump is turning white but theres only blood coming out no puss. Ive been using neosporin to let it heal. What is this bump?
Hi, Welcome and thanks for posting oyur query ot HCM. As per your query it appears that there is cyst over a urethral region. As soon as you pop it the blood oozes out from it means it is not infected yet. As you keep on pinching it, then due to inflammation it becomes swollen. Kindly do not try to pinch or pop your cyst as it can lead to secondary infection and later certain other complications related to urethrae and urinary tract as well as rest of the genital areas. It is best to consult a gynecologist for the best possible diagnosis and treatment. Hope it helps. Dr Sanjay Kumar Kanodia MD- Dermatology
