Hi, Welcome to health care magic. Your husband was admitted for pneumonia. Sometimes sick patients tend to develop another associated problems while in hospital due to severity of their primary illness. Your husband has probably developed cardiac trouble that has resulted in poor cardiac function and the medicines of antihypertensive group are given sometimes for betterment of the cardiac function and cordarone and dilzem are antiarrhythmics to control and regulate the heart rate. I think you should continue the medicines for about 2 weeks and then review to your doctor for de-escalating the treatments. I think your husband will need these medicines for few months all together. I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
