Have Problem With Chest Pain. Is It Necessary To Go With Medical Treatment ?
Hello Doctor , I am 23/M having problem with my chest pain . I have gone through the CD-CARDIOGRAPH and found that i have Normal LV Systolic Function EF = 60%. I am feel very sharp pain in my chest. Can you please let me know If i need to go with serious medical treatment .
Dear Jitender
As Your Echo-cardiogram is normal you don't seem to be suffering from a heart ailment.
You have not specified the duration and location of pain in the chest. Do you have cough and does the pain occur when you take a deep breath? I think you should go for a blood test -CBC,ESR and an XRay of your chest. Consult a physician to examine and advice you the required tests.
Hi,Jitendra thanks for query. You already has gone for basic check up and all are normal.I do not see any problem related to heart. You might have some muscular pain or acidity problem. Please avoid lifting of heavy weight, avoid high fatty food and tobacco in any form. You can talk to your doctor about need to antacid tablets.
wishing you good health.

Your EF is normal indicating good pumping function of heart. Have you not taken an ECG as well. Better to show to a Cardiologist to evaluate heart function. Get your cardiac enzymes tested for heart attack also. Sharp chest pain can be due to gastritis, lung infection, muscle strain also. If Cardiologist says no problem with heart then you can be having any one of these. Take bland soft cool diet more in milk, curd which will offer relief in gastritis.
