Have Pseudomonas Bacteria In Lungs After Radiation Treatment. Prescribed Benadryl. Need To Be Worried?
Very soon after my mother had radiation treatment to her lungs she caught the pseudomonas bacteria in her lungs. She has been put on colistimethate . The powder she mixes for her breathing treatment. She has been breaking out in itching hives all over and itching to the point of aggravation. When she and I brought this to her doctors attention we were spoken to with attitude and like we were crazy. My mother is also had a couple episodes of chest pain, sharp pain in her side and a lot of involuntary movement while she sleeps. Her doctor said it was ok for her to take Benadryl and I am a little concerned with this to. Should this be something to worry about ?
