Have Raised, Skin-colored Bumps In Pubic Region. Genital Warts? History Of Genital Herpes
Hello. I have tiny raised skin colored bumps in my pubic hair region. I did not notice them at all until I currently shaved down there. I thought that I just cut myself A few times shaving due to little cuts, but when I got out and examined the area, there were 10-15 tiny raised skin color bumps. I could pretty easily pinch them and pull them off, and it would slightly bleed after. Due to it being embarrassing, if my girlfriend would see, I picked most of them off and cleaned the area till it stopped bleeding. I am concerned that it may be genital warts, because we were diagnosed with hpv about 6 months ago. But no discription of genital warts matches my problem. Please help.
Hi, It seems that this might due to ingrowing hair follicle infection giving rise to this problem. Keep local part clean and dry. Do not try to remove the bumps as this may cause infection. Apply antibiotic cream locally. But as you got hpv positive, consult dermatologist to rule out warts. Ok and take care.
