Have Rash On Buttocks, Armpit And Upper Chest. Done Appendectomy. Taken Oxycodone
I have a rash that looks like a pipe cleaner on my buttocks, a bullseye rash under my armpit all on my left side and tonight I found a smaller than pea size spot below my bottom incision (pelvic area) and a regular looking rash on left side also on my upper chest. I had an appendectomy on this past Monday and am not taking any meds. Last pain killer (oxycodin) Fri. nite.
Hello, Thanks for writing the HCM, I have read your question, I suggest to immediately stop using oxycodone , Since it looks like you're showing one of the side-effects which generally occurs in rare cases (1% to 5%).
Without practical examination I can conclude anything, but I suggest you to check up with your doctor who prescribed you the medicine and describe him/her about your problem , if your still problem persists I suggest you to consult a dermatologist nearby about the same.
Your problem is completely curable and you need not worry.
Wishing you a good health and a quick recovery, Dr K Sanga Reddy
