Have Rashes On Abdomen. Low WBC. Prescribed Cortisone Cream. What Is It? Fear CLL?
I have stage 0 CLL - saw my oncologist 4 weeks ago and I continue to maintain low WBC, lymphocyte counts (for someone with CLL) and therefore in 'watch' stage. Last weeks a patch of rash about the size of the palm of my hand appeared on my upper abdomen. My GP doesn't know what it is and prescribed a cortisone cream. Is a mystery rash symptomatic of CLL?
I understand your concern. I hope you are all set to see your oncologist for an appointment. I also hope that the rash and the CLL are not related. It would be best for you to get educated about the condition that you are having. It also would be a good idea for you to undergo counseling regarding any potential damage you may have from this condition despite treatment. I wish you the very best and I hope this addressed your anxiety. Take care and have a lovely day!
