Have Recurrent Moles On Penis And Mostly Testicles. Had Lasered Them But No Help. Suggest?
hi i've got moles on my penis and mostly testicles..i went to two doctors.one of them said they should be lasered and he did about 7 of them and said if they keep appearing i should laser again. but they keep appearing more and now it's about 20 of them. should i get worried about it or are they just normal? and i dont want to laser all of my penis or testicles.the size is small, not itchy or irritating.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The recurrent moles are not alarming but a close watch should be kept. One of the moles should be removed for hiatopathological examination. If it turns out to be benign, there is nothing to worry. You should look for any change in size, color or shape of the mole. If any of these changes occur, immediate biopsy should be done to look for any malignant pathology. Multiple and recurrent moles are a risk factor for development of dyaplastic nevi and malignant melanoma.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
