Have Recurring UTIs That Go Into Pyelonephritis, Diagnosed With Interstitial Cystitis, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Sciatica, Chronic Joint, Back Pain

I have recurring UTIs that go into pyelonephritis . I have been diagnosed with interstitial cystitis and have diabetes, high blood pressure , sciatica and chronic joint and back pain with neuropathy. Lately I have been experiencing severe right sided pain that starts just under my rib cage, goes all the way down my right side and extends to the back. It feels like someone is kicking me repeatedly in the ribs and side. I have had at times severe itching, especially on the right side also. No fever, but I run a regular temp of 96.8 usually. I have been extremely nauseous to the point of vomiting at times. 2 months ago I had severe vomiting and diarrhea. This pain is scaring me, and thus my blood pressure is elevated due to the pain. I have been told by one doctor I have fibromyalgia. I am taking gabapentin 600 mg 3x daily; Tramadol at night, Atenolol 100 mg 2x daily; Lantus insulin 60 units, NovaLog sliding scale (base 20), pravastatin once daily, cyclobenzaprine 3x daily, vitamin b12 30 units daily, calcium citrate with Vitamin D daily, multivitamin, Extra strength arthritis pain capsule 600 mg one to two daily as needed for pain. This right side pain is really alarming to me. I am right now also on amoxicillin for yet another kidney/bladder infection. I have had shingles before also, always on the right side.

You are having so many medications addressing you various morbidities.Just do not be alarmed your doctors are doing good for you and shall take care of your symptoms which need bedside monitoring, reassurance and faith in yourself and the medical team working on you.Pylonephritis and cystitis shall be controlled on antibiotics which may show sensitivity on culture. So trust your nephrologist/urologist.
