Have Red Bumps On Throat, Sore On Roof Of Mouth. Is It Ulcer Or STD?

I have little red bumps in the back of my throat, they aren't that irritated... but my throat has hurt off and on for the past two weeks. Now I have what I think is and ulcer/canker sore on the roof of my mouth -- almost on my uvula. I'm always concerned it could be an STD... but I'm not thinking it is. What do you think?

Hello,

Ulcers or sores on roof of mouth can occur due to-intake of spicy foods,or tobacco/pan chewing.

If there is abscess, deep caries or periodontal infection may be associated.

Get a thorough clinical evaluation done by a dentist.
Oral corticosteroids has to be administered.

Avoid spicy foods, tobacco or pan chewing.

If there is abscess associated, involved tooth has to be root canal treated or extracted.
Meanwhile,maintain oral hygiene well.

Take care.
