Have Red Itchy Bumps On Butt. What Cream Should I Use?
I have been getting little bumps on my but into my inner thigh they itch . What can I do to stop the itch they look small and it look irritated and red like a rash . What cream can I use I am out of town and I have all my cream with me that I have from my dermatologist I have ketocolnszle, hydrocortisone , mucinopale, clotrimazole? Can I use any of these will be out if town for two weeks before I see my doctor
The most common condition in this area is fungal infection due to sweat and moisture in the inner thighs.
Since you are out of town and can not meet a doctor you may use anti fungal creams you are carrying that is either ketoconazole cream or clotrimazole cream. But this may not control itching. For this you need to take oral anti histamine round the clock. You may take an OTC anti histamine from a pharmacy.
Clean the area with a mild cleanser with cool water. Wear loose cotton clothes.
Once you are back in town get in touch with a dermatologist for examination and appropriate treatment.
Hope this helps you.
