Have Red Itcy Swollen Lips. Its Itchy And Burning. Using Aquaphor Ointment. What Could Be Done?

Hi Doc, I have red itcy swollen lips. I used to get this in spring time but this year it lasting long time. It's almost 4 weeks I have red lips. now it's red all around my lips and its itch and burning. I'm using aquaphor ointment but nothing is helping. Can you plese let me know if there anything i can use to go away my redness. Thanks.

As per your description, I think you are having perioral dermatitis, it is sometimes seen due to application of steroid creams ( a common side effect of topical steroid cream). Can you please let me know are you using any steroid containing creams. You can apply moisturizing creams like Vaseline petrolatum jelly.
