Suggest Treatment For Itchy, Swollen And Chapped Lips
I have been dealing with almost a chronic lip itchiness, chapping, inflamed and extremely swollen. Ive tried all lip balms ( vaseline, chapsticks, even aquaphor) and now im putting abreva because it may be a cold sore. Its gotten slightly better....became dried up and peely. Im thinking of going to MD if this does not resolve by tomorrow. Can this be allergy ?
Thanks for your query . The important thing which one should do in chapped lips is avoid licking/picking of lips and protect lips from sun exposure by using lip balm with broad spectrum sunscreen .
The symptoms you mention in your query can also occur because of allergic reaction due to any product used on face .
I would suggest you to take over counter the counter antihistamine drug like benadryl .
If condition still persist then consult dermatologist for examination and proper treatment .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
