Have Red, Sore Spot On Shin, Pitting Edema From Knee To Ankle. Took Bactrim Ds 1600 Mg. How To Get Cured?
i have a spot on my shin that is hard red very sore have pitting edema from knee to ankle. They thought it was staph I have taken 1600mg of Bactrim DS for a week not better, I was put in the hospital and was on IV vacomycin for 3 days and now on 1200mg of Zyvox and Levaquin and not any better at all. it has been there for 3 weeks also

The cause of legulcers are multitude.You can always get a swab taken and do culture and sensitivity to know the causative organism and appropriate antibiotic and wedge biopsy to know the cause and treat accordingly.Do contact me with the report along with complete bloodcount and ESR with blood sugar value.
