Have Reddish Swollen Mass On My Anus. It Goes Away On Its Own. What Could It Be?
I have a reddish swollen mass on the left side of my anus that is approx 2 inches wide and extends down toward base of scrotum. It doesn't particularly hurt, just a little tender and firm and warm. I went to the clinic and he said it is fungal. This happened three days ago when I noticed it - was fine the night before and then woke up with this feeling and looked down there to see this. It's happened twice before over the past 6-8 months. It would just go away on it's own. This break out is already going down.
I was scratching at night and just got some medication for hemorroid irritation so could be something to do with this? But like I said Dr. said it is fungal. Just looking for second opinion.
Hello, Thanks for the query. Probably you are suffering from piles. In initial stages the piles present as a small mass in anal area, This mass appears and disappears initially but later becomes permanent. I think you must meet a surgeon.
