Have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Synovectomy And Baker's Cyst Removed. Hearing Clicks And Grinds. Need To See Orthopedic Surgeon?
I have RA and about 25 years ago I had synovectomy and a baker's cyst removal. It now clicks and grinds. I noticed when going up stairs and when I exercise, especially when riding my stationary bike and doing leg exercises. Do I need to see an orthopedic surgeon?
Your symptoms of "clicks & grinding" are typically suggestive of arthritic changes (wear and tear) inside your joints.
So, you need to consult an orthopedic surgeon for an evaluation regarding the status of your joints by way of clinical examination and radiological parameters.
Management of your condition depends upon the stage of arthritic changes.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
