Have Simple Hyperplasia Atypia. Suggested IUD. Family History Of Cervical Cancer. Had D And C. Go For A Surgery?

I just had a D and C two days ago. I was told today by my OBGYN that I have simple hyperplasia w/o atypia. She suggested an IUD and said she would recommend this for a year then a hysterectomy ( Spelling?) I have had 2 TIA's and both of my sisters have had cervical cancer. Do I skip the IUD and go straight fr the surgery?

Hi Dear,
Simple hyperplasia without atypia is not an indication for hysterectomy and acn be very well managed medically. Progesteron IUCD's are a good alternative.
Regarding family history of cervical cancer, be cautious, get a pap smear done, if not done till now and this as to be repeated at prescribed interval.
Go ahead with the treatment
