Have Small Hiatal Hernia Since Years, Have Discomfort In Upper Stomach. What Could Be Causing This?

I have had a small hiatal hernia for many years. Lately, I have had discomfort in my upper stomach(maybe 2 weeks now). About 3 weeks ago I helped someone lift a piano a little over a hump. My stomach muscles became very sore the next day for about 4 days. The soreness went away, but I have been having this discomfort in my upper abdomen since. I am not sure what is causing this.

Hi,
You might have some strain of abdominal muscle due to lifting weight.
But now everything is clear.
At present your abdominal dis comfort might be due to hiatus hernia.
Take Omiprazole as and when required.
Ok and take care.
Do not sleep or lying down for an hour after taking food.
Avoid late night dinner.
Avoid fried and junk food.
