I am 72 yr old woman, have spondelisthesis and have mod to severe pain in my lateral calves,, particularly the right lateral calf. I have had knee replacements 10 and 9 yrs ago and now my knees are painful. Management of spondylolisthesis depends on the Grades of severity. For Gr 1 & 2 - Conservative management by * Bracing - a lumbosacral support * Activity modification - avoid bending forwards and lifting weights * Physical therapy - strengthening of lumbar spinal muscles
For Gr 3 & 4 - who are at risk of progression, surgical fusion is recommended.

For Gr 1 & 2 - Conservative management by * Bracing - a lumbosacral support * Activity modification - avoid bending forwards and lifting weights * Physical therapy - strengthening of lumbar spinal muscles For Gr 3 & 4 - who are at risk of progression, surgical fusion is recommended.
