Have Spots On Belly, Back And Legs. Appear Like Pimples. No Itching. What Could It Be?

my 9 year old has spots on her belly mostly, and back and legs, newly appearing one on her neck and forehead yesterday. The spots first appear as a small cluster looking like goose bumps or pimples. The area in a few days changes appearance to look like a flat mosquito bite or welt. They are raised but do not itch... I am lost on what this could be.

Hi thanks for writing here. Many skin diseases are common in childhood.Fortunately most of them recover well.Based on your history your child seems to be having pitryasis rosecea. It is a kind of post viral exanthem. It does not require any treatment. At far you can apply a good emollient 2 to 3 times daily.Secondaly it may be guttate psoriasis. It will require topical steroids and emollients. So my advise is to wait and watch for rash to subside for 1 to 2 weeks .If it does not subside then better to consult a dermatologist.Thanks.
