Have Stage 3 Lymphyadema In Legs. Interested To Remove Calcified Lymphatic Fluid. Possible?
I have stage 3 lymphyadema in my legs. Behind my left thigh, I have a large mass of calcified lymphatic fluid that I am interested in having removed due to its being very disfiguring. There are no specialists in Delaware but the general surgeons who have seen it tell me that due to my compromised immunity and vascular dysfunction that it is inadviseable. Joy Cohn, who is a nationally known therapist, tells me it will grow back anyway.yET i HAVE SEEN ON tlc'S SHOW ABOUT oBESITY, OTHERS have had similar growths removed. What do I do?
Hi and thanks for the query, I do think the opinion of the specialists in the field as you actually met them are based on their clinical experience and scientific grounding with respect to the care of this condition. It would be , in my opinion, worthwhile to follow the advice of your doctors. I do not think it is a good idea to get it removed, considering risks of infection, poor healing, and the fact it risks coming back. Conservative treatment is the best for now. Do not hesitate informing your doctor of any unusual signs you notice along the line. Kind regards
