Have Stomach Distension, Cramps, High ESR, Iron Deficiency And Faecal Fat Malabsorption. IBS?
Hello I have been battling elevated ESR , Iron deficiency and faecal fat malabsortion and slightly high CRP in the setting loose stools with mucous and bleeding inthe past with a past history of constipation, My Gastroenterologist tells me my symptoms are realted to IBS but i am not convinced s I have severe stomach distension and cramps all day long some day,
hi, i feel you must be having crohns or ulcerative colitis. even pancreatitis can cause such symptoms. IBS is highly unlikely as ESR is raised, and bleeding is there. sometime tuberculosis also gives same picture. consult another gastroenterologist.
