Have Swelling In Ovaries Before Ovulation And Periods. Have Copper IUD Placed. Trying To Conceive. Normal?

During ovulation one of my ovaries is swollen and just before my period starts my ovary swelling appears again. Is this normal ? I had an copper IUD for almost five years has that negatively affected my body . My husband have been trying to concieve for 6 months. I am 27 years old. I have two children. I was able to concieve them easily.

If the ovary swelling returns back to normal after your period, then there should be nothing to worry about. As simple as it sounds, conceiving has many details about it, and it would be best to be under the supervision of a doctor during this, especially if you have had difficultiea in conceiving in the past.
