Have Terrible Back Pain, Intense Burning Sensation, Shock Feeling Across Limbs. What Is The Cause?

i have terrible back pain which is becoming increasingly worse, i get a very intense burning sensation right in the middle of my spine , sometimes i get a pins and needle sensation in that area too, most recently i have been getting an electric shock type feeling in both arms at the same time when walking up and down stairs, do you know what could be the cause of this? many thanks.
