Have Testicular Torsion, Pain Migrating Up Of Groin Towards Stomach. No Help From Any Treatments. Dying Testicles?
I Have testicular torsion. Going on 11 years now. Been to the hospital 3 times, over 3000 in bills, and still no treatment has been rendered. I gave up on the medical system, and was so discourage I haven't been back. Now Ice doesn't seem to be doing the job anymore. The pain is now migrating up the side of my groin towards my stomach area on both sides. Are my testicles dying?
Hi Please don't feel disappointed with the medical service rendered to you, since many a time the conditions are difficult to treat but on going research make it possible to treat the same at a later time. As you said you have chronic testicular pain which is commonly due to epididymitis rather than torsion(emergency condition). If you are saying that you have Intermittent Torsion then also its surgically curable. No your testes are not dying. It is only possible with torsion. Now what i would suggest is to consult a General surgeon to do a physical examination scrotal ultrasound routine blood and urine examination. This would definitely give a solution. Wish you good luck. For any further quarries feel free to ask. Thanking you Dr Samir
