Have Tingling In The Tip Of The Penis. Had Unprotected Sex Earlier. What To Do Now?
hello - i had unprotected sex two days ago. The tip of my penis started tingling the day after. Sex was somewhat rough so I assumed I had nerve damage and not infection since I figured infection would not show up the day after - pathogen probably needs incubation time. Today, the tingling increased and I pee frequently. I am suspecting infection now. Of course i will get tested for STD as soon as possible but should I start taking antibiotics pro-actively? i m getting really worried
It is obviously necessary to consult dematlogist or venereal disease specialist to rule out insexually transmitted disease. You should start taking antibiotics only after confirming the diagnosis. The choice of antibiotics depend upon the nature of infection and severity.
Inadvertant use of antibiotics may develop resistance.
Thanks.
