Have Tingling Sensation And Pain In Knees, Diabetes. Knee Replacement Surgery. Suggest Diet To Maintain Blood Sugar Level
Hello, The tingling and numbness is more likely due to diabetes than knee replacement. It is called Diabetic neuropathy. There the peripheral nerves are damaged due to hyperglycemia. This damage occurs in the pre diabetes stage itself. I should advise my patient to have a tight blood sugar control and prescribe medicines like Gabapentin for neurological pain.
