Have Ulcer In Stomach, Blockage In Heart. Physician Suggested Heart Surgery Due To Ulcer. Is It Recommended?

Hi, My father was having ulcer in his stomach and he also has some amount of blockage in heart also. I want to ask: 1. Doc has suggested heart surgery for the blockage because of ulcer. He is saying that ulcer will be effected in case of angioplasty or stenting as more medication is required in these cases and the patient can't take more medicines because of ulcer. Hello,
Your doctor is right in advising the surgery because post stenting,you would be needing more of drugs like aspirin and anti platelet drugs,which can cause problems to your ulcer.
