Have Unprotected Sex, Horrible Sudden Pain After Intercourse Inside The Vagina, Trying For A Baby. What To Do?
Hi I m 19 years of age I have been with my partner for almost 2 years we have unprotected sex, always have done. The past few days I can pass urine normal bit towards the end I have this urge to push and my body has no control over it. The past two nights intercourse has been perfectly fine but I get a horrible sudden pain after intercourse inside the vagina and I run to the toilet thinking I m going to wee myself we have been trying for a baby just under a year now and I m quite concerned that this can affect my chances iv always been quite paranoid that I may not be able to have a child as we have had no luck this passed year. Hope you can help me.
I would advise you to relax. Anxiety and stress only worses the chances of getting pregnant.
Any burning sensation while passing urine , increased frequency of urination, lower abdominal pain, fever/ vomiting? I would suggest you get a urine routine and microscopy test done to rule out urinary tract infection.
In the meantime, drink plenty of fluids a day, at least 8- 10 glasses of water a day to flush out the bacteria.
When was your last menstrual date... If it is delayed, you could also get a urine pregnancy test done.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
