Have Upper Stomach Pain. Suspecting Ulcer. Doctor Did Ultrasound Of Pancreas And Asked If I Needed To Urinate. Reason?

I have had upper stomach pain for about 4 months. I am being seen by a dr. and we are suspect of an ulcer. Today I had an ultra sound and am scheduled for an upper GI. When she was doing the ultra sounds she spent quite abit of time on my pancrease and later asked if I needed to use the rest room, which I did not, I had just emptied my bladder. Why would she ask this?

Hi, she would have found that the uterus is antiverted, or there is pressure over the uterus, may be of the ovaries, or full bladder.
Any how don't worry ask the doctor for clarification. ovary may be having an ovarian cyst, or there may be fibroids in the posterior wall of uterus, these are all not related to the present pain.
For confirmation you may need to get gastroscopy done.
i usually prescribe my patients with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and antacid gel. Thank you.
