Have Vomiting, Heavy Head. No Constipation. Recently Had A Viral Infection In Tummy. Food Poisoning?
I was up all night vomiting, I am not constipated, am a little fatigued and my head feels slightly heavy. I recently had a bad bout of a viral infection in my tummy, but got rid of that. I am not sure if this is food poisoning as I refluxed a little and it tasted like dinner, plus my stomach was churring like an ice cream mixer. Many thanks PS Is this consultation free Mrs Carolyn Lee
Your vomiting can be caused by viral infection. This is the most common reason of such symptoms. Fever, fatigue appears due to inflammation and dehydration. Usually it takes couple of days for the condition to improve. So if your condition is getting better, you will be fine and no medical attention is necessary. Just drink plenty of water and have mild diet for few more days. But if this is not the first time, and such symptoms are recurring, you should see a doctor. In such case, stomach disease(like peptic ulcer), gallstones and many more can cause such symptoms.
Hope this will help. Regards.
