Have Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Slightly Warm Body. Took Pudin Hara. How To Overcome This?
Hello, My 4 and half year old kid is suffering from vomiting and stomach ache since yesterday. Pudin Hara intake brings temporary relief but the pain recurs. He is not eating anything also. A slight intake of water or milk again leads to vomiting. His body was slightly warm yesterday but otherwise there is no fever.
Thank you for choosing healthcaremagic for your query.
As you mentioned that your 4.5 yr old child has had vomiting and stomachache for 1 day and even small intake of water or milk is causing him to vomit.
He is most likely suffering from gastroenteritis (stomach bug). He needs to be encouraged to drink small sips of Oral rehydration fluid at frequent intervals to prevent him from getting dehydrated.
If he is unable to keep any fluids down due to vomiting or is urine output has significantly decreased, then he needs to be seen by his pediatrician to rule out significant dehydration. He will need medications for his vomiting, cyclopam for his stomachache, econorm sachet and zinc 20 syrup which can be prescribed by his pediatrician.
