Having Epilim To Control Epilepsy. Concerned About Hair Loss. How To Treat It?
My name is Stacy and I have epilepsy . I started out using Epilim and then changed to Lamotrigine due to hair loss and extreme periods cramps but I m back to Epilim as I had more seizures using the Lamotrigine and back to Epilim. I am extremely concerned as to I am losing so much hair and would like to know if there are any vitamins or diet that I have to be on to treat this problem?
Using mild shampoos and having a dermatological consultation should work to help with your hair loss. Also minoxidil 2%-5%-10% is available in pharmacies if permitted by your dermatologist for use and is very effective. Micronutrient deficiencies might lead to hair loss and supplements with Zinc, Copper and Selenium are useful in treating hair loss. I hope this helps.
Take care and have a lovely day!
