Having A Chronic Sinusitis Problem.

I have a chronic sinusitis problem I had one surgery done about 4 years ago there was relief for some time...but again this problem has resurfaced it was rhinoplasty + something curvature( i dont remember the exact name) they took out a small bone in surgery and cleared the air passage of my nostrils diagnosis was that, my nose is blocked and I should go for a surgery oh I am saying "chronic" because it has continued for a long time . Chronic means "Continuous" as of now I frequently get cold and running nose problem there is a thick green discharge many a times not only in the morning but in other time of day also yes i find myself very much sensitive to cold in the morning it is solid so i have to forcefully discharge it out

thats septoplasty If this was the surgery the diagnosis would be like DNS pain on cheeks is assosciated with maxillary sinusitis so do you find more problem in winters I feel you have the chronic sinusitis problem But the cause should be found out the previous doctor operated on septoplasty because you have got a deviated nasal septum which is a common cause of the chronic sinusitis

I would suggest you to see an ENT specialist to get a procedure done called the sinusoscopy called FESS he sees into the sinus and determine what to be done next IF you would like one of our doctors to call you and help you

You need to undergo a Plain CT PNS (Para Nasal Sinuses) on a high resolution CT Scan machine to figure out the present condition of your nose and sinuses as a result of your disease and previous surgeries.

You need to consider a trial of medical therapy before considering additional surgery to avoid an Empty Nose Syndrome.
