Heavy cough yelloimw green mucus. ii have been losing weight im assuming cause i can't eat what i would like to now i have been nauseated for the past two days and extremely tried which i hardly ever throw up. Now i am coughing up a clear bloody mucus.. I brushed my teeth and tongue not any harder than i normally do .there was white stuff collecting back there last week so i made sure to get the back of my tongue. I am really confused about going back to the e.r. My abcess is still present and i have dropped a pant size. Only two more days of antibotics .. Do i have pneumonia?
HI ! It is possible that you might be having a pneumonia and this can be known only by the way of clinical examination along with some investigations by your treating doctor. The history of weight loss is significant and you must consult discuss with your doctor to exclude tuberculosis if you reside in an area where this is common. Also you should get yourself reviewed by your doctor for the abscess which may need some surgical intervention if not healed till now. In the meantime, please get your blood tested for sugar and show it to your doctor. Wishing you an early recovery.
