Having Arthritis. Now Painful Lump On Collar Bone Near Throat After Falling Down. Could It Be Fractured?
I have just discovered a hard, unmovable lump on my right collarbone near the throat. I am 63 and I fell over my grandson's toy box about a month ago and landed on my face, bending my wire-frame glasses and gashing a hole in my forehead just above my right eye. Could I have possibly fractured my collarbone and not realized it at the time? The lump is very painful and causes pain in my whole upper chest. I also have arthritis.

Hi, You had a fall 1 mth. back-with a swelling on your collar bone near throat, the swelling that is not movable may be a mal united fracture or swelling of the bone end due to trauma+vit D and calcium defficiancy. Painkiller with antiinflammatory(serratopeptidase) , Antibiotics( if needed) Calcium , vit D in injectable form would be the medicines in 1st line. sometimes local cortisone injections help. I would advice you to see an Orthopedic Dr's consultation to get proper dose as per need. Take care. Thank you.
