Having Child Fecalysis Result. Can Any Online Doctor Help Me To Read It?
my baby is one year and four months old. She had her fecalysis result as follows: color-yellow, Consistency-semi-formed, Bacteria-many, Ova/Parasites-none seen..what does it mean? last night she vomit twice after she ate solid food like rice and meat.. but she seems active and alright..this morning she ate already. i thought because of her teething stage maybe but I m not sure of it.
If bacteria were present in your child's fecal analysis, then, infection of the bowels is suspected. - Did the doctor ask any further exam (like the coproculture)?
Although Ova/Parasites are not seen, however, it is not sure that they are not present because ova/parasites can be excreted not all the time. Therefore, I would recommend to take the fecal sample three consequtive days, and sent to the lab (you can talk to the lab technician how to preserve it).
If the results do not show ova/parasites (three samples), then, most probably it is because of virosis unless coproculture shows any other bacterial infection.
what type of bacteria are present in the fecalysis result of your baby.does she is having any problems with her motions.vomiting can be due to lot other reasons too and one or two isolated episodes of vomiting in children does not needs any investigations.get culture and sensitivity test done of your child fecaes thn it will be clear that whether she needs any medication for it or not.
