Having Constant Stomach Ache, Losing Weight. Taken Zentel, Pain Has Increased. Is It Side Effect?
Hi Doctor,
I am having constant stomache ache from 1 week. And am getting thinner also while I eat much, someone suggested me to take zentel as a course for worms.
Today morning I had zentel, but the stomache ache has increased now. Can you please let me know if it is a side effect of zentel?
Hi and sorry to hear about all what you are going through.
Zentel is rarely a cause of stomach ache. Also, because this pain was already there before you took zentel, it makes it even more less likely.
I will suggest that you visit your doctor for the following reasons: 1. The pain is increasing 2. You have been loosing weight despite increased eating 3. Zentel seems and unlikely cause and there are many other causes of abdominal pain.
Your doctor would ask more questions about this pain and will examine you. He may also ask for some test if necessary.
Hope this answers your worries. If not, please feel free to contact me again.
I wish you a speedy recovery
