Having Fever, Tiredness, Sore Throat, Night Sweat And Cough. Do I Have A Common Cold Or Should I Take A Treatment?
Hi. I received a fever for two days, along with tiredness. I awoke to the night sweat which broke my fever. I also had a sore throat, which is still present, and i know have cold like symptoms. I also get upper abdominal pain when I cough and not as often when not. My question is, do I have a common cold, or should I call my doctor. Thanks

Having Fever, Tiredness, Sore Throat, Night Sweat And Cough. Do I Have A Common Cold Or Should I Take A Treatment?
Welcome to Health care magic forum, Common cold is usually of viral infection origin. It shows symptoms like sore throat, fever, stuffiness in nose, watery nasal discharge. Those things remain for 3 to 4 days . viral infection leads to a decrease in immunity of the body. Added bacterial infection may lead to cough . You can take some antipyretics like paracetamol and antihistaminic like chlorpheniramine maleate for one or two days. If symptom persists than you must visit an ENT specialist or a Physician for treatment. Thanking You.
