Having Gastritis And Gerd. Having Pain In Right Upper Quadrant. Done Cleansing With Epsom Salt. Having Extreme Stomach Pain. Related?
Hi my name is Sara I am 29 and I recently did a cleanse w Epsom salt and I have gastritis and GERD. I also have pain in my RUQ for two years and no one knows why. I did the cleanse a week ago and on Friday I ended up in the ER with extreme stomach pain it is still bothering me. Do you think this at all related to the cleanse ?
Hi... Thanks for the query.. I don't think the pain is related to cleansing.. You could be having either gastric erosion or duodenal ulcer.. Is there any fever and any swelling over the abdomen? Better to get one ultrasound scan also to rule out any other condition and endoscopy if required for GERD.. You can take antacids like pantoprazole om empty stomach every day morning.. Avoid oily foods. Don't skip breakfast and don't take too much of gap between meals.. Hope this information helps you...Take care...
