Having Light Vaginal Spotting Shortly After Inhaling Steroid. Can It Be Due To Elevated Estrogen Levels?

I just began some light vaginal spotting shortly after being taking an inhaled steroid for a week and wonder if there might be a correlation. I am menopausal, but have spotted at other times when my estrogen levels were too high.My doctor has had me cut down on my estrogen patch until the spotting has subsided in the past, which it always has. I am wondering if the round of inhaled steroid I just completed for bronchitis might have elevated my estrogen levels somehow, and therefore caused the spotting. Thank you.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The spotting is unrelated to inhaled steroid.
Inhaled steroid have no effect on the circulating oestrogen level.
Its likely to be fluctuating oestrogen level from patch unrelated to inhaled steroid

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
