Having Missed Period. Seen Spotting, Brownish Discharge. No Cramping. Pregnancy Test Negative. Suggestions?

Hi doc. My last period was 16 april 2013. And according to my average cycle, i should period on 25 may. I have spotting on 18 may. But only one day and its brwnish almost pinkish. Then i have this kind of watery discharge which i thought my period is coming.
I dont have any cramping, like i always used to. Then my breast felt tender and full. Ive done test on the 9th day after the period was due. But negative. Pls advise me.

Hi,
It could be a delayed period due to a hormonal imbalance. Yet, you may exclude pregnancy through a blood test as this is more sensitive. Your symptoms could be premenstrual. They are not specific for early pregnancy. You may also have a trans-vaginal sonogram. Please see a specialist for further appraisal of the situation. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
