Having Noticed Severe Cough Which Is Causing Pain In Trachea
I have coughed so much over the past 2 weeks that my trachea hurts now... That's probably bad, huh? I've been to the doctor; she gave me a course of Azithromycin but it mustn't have worked. I take Tylenol Cold and Flu Severe, but it's not exactly helping... What do I do?

Having Noticed Severe Cough Which Is Causing Pain In Trachea
Hello I share your concern Coughing and inflammation might not be caused by infection only. It could be viral or allergic You need to identify trigger for an allergic reaction if you can pinpoint any. You may require another course of antibiotics like calrithromycin or Penicillin group of drugs under supervision when azithromycin is not working. Here I would advise you for an X rat chest and sputum microscopy with blood profile for ESR and CBC Meanwhile do take steam inhalation and deep breathing exercises Please write back to me with more details like your age and relevant medical history So that I will be able to tell you more precisely. Best regards
