Having Numbing Sensations In Shoulder. Both Clavicals Broken And Have Plates. Had Shoulder Surgery For Torn Rotary Cuff. Cause And Treatment

I have been having a lot of numbing sensations in my L shoulder blade area and of the arm. Both clavicals have been broken and have plates. Also, I have had L shoulder surgery for torn rotary cuff. But, the numbness is very distracting and painful with a burning sensation. What could be the cause of this and what should I do about it.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The numbness in both the shoulders and arms could be due to a superficial nerve injury or methylcobalamin deficiency. Some simple blood tests will help in detecting the exact cause.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
