Having Patches On Skin, Vitiligo From Years, Taking Treatment, Melon, Pigment. Any Side Effect? Should I Go Through Plastic Surgery?
Hi sir....i am having patches on skin,called vitiligo .i hav been taking treatment since 7 years old.nw i am 19 years.i observed lot of change where these patches have hairs.but still am having vitiligo on my foot , wrist and lips where there are no hairs.i used many medicines like melan,pigmento,trimop,placentrex inj,white care,lud oil etc.,my doctor suggestd me to go through plastic surgery on lips,wrist and foot..for that am scared..and i hav been using melan,pigmento and t-top ontiment on lips for 5months..taking melan,pigmento and t-top lead to any side effect????suggest me if i go through plastc surgery or continuing those medicines....plz...reply me doctor

Vitiligo occurs due to decreased melanin pigment in the skin that is because of deficiency of melatonin hormone which is responsible for the pigmentation of the skin , as for the medical treatment you will have the side effects like hair growth, pacthy pigmentation of vitiligo sites will be there , for better treatment u can go for PUVA therapy or other cosmetic plastic surgeries. thank you
