Having Pretty Bad Pain On The My Left Side Rib

Having pretty bad pain on the my left side rib cage... It started off by an uncomfortableness while driving and I just chalked it up to my posture because once I'd sit up straight the pain would subside. For the last week and a half I haven't been able to take a deep breath, cough or even laugh without a shooting pain in my rib cage right at my chest.
