Having Several Tight Trapezius Muscles. Done PT, Deep Tissue Massages. Should I Try Osteopathy?
I have had several tight trapezius muscles for a few years now. The only temporary relief comes from cracking my neck or stretching on a foam roller. I have done deep tissues messages, gone to PT, and seen an orthopedic surgeon for X-RAYS (in which nothing abnormal showed). I am thinking of trying osteopathy? Any recommendations?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The tight trapezius muscles can be usually relieved with oral muscle relaxants and a hot fomentation. If these are not helping then osteopathy can be tried but the extent of improvement cannot be guessed. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
