Having Sleep Apnsea, Why Do I Feel That My Heart Is Missing On Its Beats?

I can feel my heart skip beats when it happens then my body starts burning may because I get scared and also I have sleep apena I stop breathing 25 times per hour I cant wear that machine so im scared to go to sleep so I stay up until I drop than up by 7am please help

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. You feeling your heart skipping beats may be due to a number of reasons.

1. It may be anxiety over your lack of sleep and fatigue. This can lead to odd perceptions and faster heart rates and skipped beats.

2. Untreated sleep apnea can lead to heart problems, and if untreated for years can lead to heart damage and altered blood presure and heart rate.

You likely see your physician who will check your blood pressure and an EKG to see if this feeling is a really your heart skipping beats. Once that is established he will be able to better address the cause and offer you a solution.
