Having Stomach Issues, Had Colonoscopy And Swallowed Camera Pill. Constipated And Having Cramps. What Do You Suggest?
Hi my 18 year old son has been suffering with stomache issues, he has had colonoscopy, endoscopy and swallowed camera pill. He seems to have IBS along with lactose issues as well as staying on a gluten free diet. He gets constipated quite often and is on mirolax daily to help him go to the bathroom but its making him go very often as well as giving him cramps. His school in Israel is recomending him a therapist which has nothing to do with his stomache issues. He just wants to be pain free and I thought you can make some suggestions. Thank you tobi Fein

Mirolac is sometimes known to cause stomach cramps. You can substitute it with other laxative like lactulose. Drinking plenty of water and high fiber diet will help. Twice a week enema with glycerine and normal saline will help in evacuation of colon. He also requires toilet training.
